Johann Strauss II was born in Vienna, he is the member of the famous music-making famly whose works are still performed. These include The Blue Danube 1867, Tale from the Vienna Woods 1868, Wine, Women, and Song 1869, Vienna Blood 1873, Roses from the South 1880, Voices of Spring 1883, and the operetta Die Fledermaus 1874.
